Description
The Romeo California is Eastman's full centre-block version of the Romeo platform, which trades the standard model's hollow construction for better feedback rejection and a tighter low-end response while keeping the semi-hollow character intact. Bare Knuckle Old Guard humbuckers — low-output Alnico II units wound in England — give it an open, dynamic PAF-style voice with enough clarity for clean work and enough push to drive an amp without compression. At 7 lbs 3 oz with a 24.75-inch scale and ebony board, it sits comfortably in ES-335 territory but with a thinner, offset body. This pre-owned example is in excellent condition and includes a hardshell case.
