Description
The Fender 75th Anniversary Player II Baritone Telecaster brings the baritone Telecaster format back to the Player II lineup with a 27" scale length purpose-built for standard B-to-B tuning, giving players increased string tension and stronger note definition in the lower registers. The alder body keeps the instrument grounded in traditional Fender construction, while the maple neck and fingerboard add snap and attack that translate well across an extended range. A Modern C profile and 9.5" fingerboard radius make the neck approachable for players coming from standard-scale guitars, and rolled fingerboard edges contribute a broken-in feel from the start. Two Player Series Alnico 5 single-coil pickups handle the electronics, with the bridge pickup delivering punchy, articulate response and the neck pickup offering warmth without losing note separation - both characteristics that hold up well at lower tunings. The six-saddle string-through-body bridge allows individual intonation adjustment for heavier baritone strings, which matters when setup accuracy is critical for staying in tune across the full fretboard. This guitar suits players who want a baritone with familiar Telecaster ergonomics and controls, whether they work in country, post-rock, metal, or any style that benefits from extended low-end range.
