The Fender 75th Anniversary Player II Sparkle Telecaster marks the Telecaster's 75th year with a purpose-built pickup set and hardware upgrades that separate it from the standard Player II lineup. The 75th Anniversary Thunderbolt single-coil pickups feature oversized pole pieces that deliver the mid-forward bite and twang the Telecaster is known for while smoothing the harsh edges and adding slightly more output than standard Tele pickups. The 6-saddle string-through-body bridge with block steel saddles replaces the traditional 3-barrel design, giving you reliable intonation across all six strings and a stable platform for regular gigging.
The alder body, Modern C maple neck, and 9.5" radius slab rosewood fingerboard form a setup that suits players who want a comfortable, workable neck without the steepness of a vintage-radius board. At 25.5" scale, this is a full-length Telecaster that plays and responds the way Tele players expect. These are available for 2026 only and ship with a commemorative anniversary neck plate, so this is not a configuration you'll find in the permanent Fender catalog. It comes with a deluxe gig bag and is a strong choice for the player who wants a stage-ready Telecaster with a distinctive finish and meaningful spec upgrades at the Player II price point.
