The Fender 75th Anniversary Vintera Road Worn 1951 Telecaster is a limited-edition Blackguard-spec guitar built for players who want era-accurate construction without Custom Shop pricing. The ash body is paired with a one-piece maple neck finished in nitrocellulose lacquer that includes subtle checking and light wear, giving it the broken-in feel of a guitar that has already been played in. That 1951 "U"-shape neck profile is the defining playability factor here: it is a full, chunky handful that fills out the fretting hand considerably, especially toward the upper frets - the opposite of a modern slim C.
The 7.25" radius maple fingerboard suits vintage-style chord work and lower-action setups. Pure Vintage '51 single-coil pickups - built with Alnico 3 magnets, fiber bobbins, and cloth-covered wire - deliver articulate, punchy twang with clear high-end definition and tight low-end response, and they track playing dynamics well. The 3-saddle strings-through-body bridge with brass barrel saddles keeps the setup period-correct. At 7 lb 6.4 oz, it is comfortable for long sets. A tweed case is included. This guitar suits the vintage Telecaster purist who wants Blackguard DNA at a price well below the American Vintage II equivalent.
