Description
The Fender Custom Shop 1950 Double Esquire Relic recreates the brief transitional moment before the Broadcaster name appeared, featuring two hand-wound 50-51 Blackguard pickups in a lightweight ash body with a Relic-aged Nocaster Blonde finish. The 1950 Blackguard neck profile in rift sawn maple with a compound 7.25-to-9.5-inch radius delivers a period-correct feel with improved playability in the upper register, while the dual pickup layout gives this Esquire variant a fuller, more versatile voice than its single-pickup counterpart. Ships in a tweed Custom Shop hardshell case with complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
