Description
This Fender Custom Shop 1952 Telecaster NOS is built for players who want a vintage-spec Telecaster with enough modern concessions to make it a working instrument. The Black Walnut body is an atypical Custom Shop material choice - most '52 reissues use ash - and it pairs with a roasted rift-sawn maple neck that resists humidity shifts better than standard maple. NOS designation means the guitar presents as factory-new with no aging or relic work applied; the nitrocellulose lacquer will develop its own patina naturally over time.

Hand-wound '58 Tele pickups feed through the period-correct '51-'54 bridge, keeping the signal chain close to what early Telecasters actually ran. The AAA rosewood fingerboard sits on a 9.5" radius which gives the fretting hand more room on bends without fighting the board. The 60-style Oval-C neck profile rounds out a package aimed at players who want vintage character without a strict vintage setup. This guitar ships with a hardshell case, and as a new guitar over $3,000, it includes our complimentary PLEK service and limited lifetime warranty at Righteous Guitars.
