The Fender Custom Shop 1956 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic pairs an ash body in Wide Fade 2 Color Sunburst with a plain grain maple neck shaped to a '54 Strat Soft V profile, finished with enough playing wear to feel broken in without obscuring the grain. Hand-wound '55 Strat single-coils deliver a glassy, articulate voice with snappy attack across the 7.25-to-9.5-inch compound radius maple fingerboard, while the bone nut and Custom Shop Vintage Strat tremolo keep intonation and tuning stability where they should be. Ships in a Custom Shop hardshell case with free shipping to the continental U.S., and qualifies for complimentary PLEK service and a limited lifetime warranty.
