The Fender Custom Shop 1959 Custom Esquire Time Capsule Relic is a single-pickup Tele-style solidbody built to replicate a played-in late-fifties specimen, finished in Faded Natural Blonde over a lightweight ash body. The hand-wound '58 Tele pickup delivers snappy, articulate single-coil tone with enough midrange push to cut without a neck pickup, while the 1959 D neck profile and 7.25-to-9.5-inch compound radius keep the feel familiar but functional across the full fingerboard. Ships in a Custom Shop hardshell case with free shipping to the continental U.S., and qualifies for complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping as well as a limited lifetime warranty.
