The Fender Custom Shop Limited 1962 Stratocaster Heavy Relic pairs an alder body in Aged Ocean Turquoise over 3 Color Sunburst with a quartersawn roasted maple neck and AAA rosewood fingerboard, finished to Heavy Relic spec with wear patterns that expose the sunburst beneath the turquoise. Three distinct pickups - a Hand Wound '69 Strat in the neck, a '50s Fat Strat in the middle, and a Texas Special at the bridge - give this guitar a notably wide tonal range, from glassy cleans to a punchy, fat midrange to tight, aggressive output depending on position. Ships in a Custom Shop hardshell case with complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
