The Fender Custom Shop Limited Roasted 1961 Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic pairs a roasted alder body with a roasted quarter sawn maple neck and AAA rosewood fingerboard, finished in Aged Sherwood Green Metallic over 3 Color Sunburst, where the Super Heavy Relic treatment wears through the top coat to reveal the sunburst beneath. The hand-wound Texas Special pickups deliver a hotter, more articulate take on vintage Strat tone, with snappy single-coil clarity and a punchy midrange that responds well to pick dynamics. The Large C neck profile and 9.5-inch radius keep the feel modern enough for extended playing, while the bone nut and period-correct vintage tremolo bridge round out the 1961 spec. Ships in a brown Custom Shop hardshell case with complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
