The Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom 1955 Hardtail Stratocaster Time Capsule recreates a mid-fifties Strat with a fixed bridge, ash body, and rift sawn maple neck carved to a 1954 U profile. Hand-wound '55 Strat pickups deliver glassy, articulate single-coil tone with the added sustain and direct coupling that a hardtail bridge provides, while the 7.25-to-9.5-inch compound radius keeps chording comfortable and bending smooth across the neck. Finished in Aged White Blonde under Fender's Time Capsule treatment, it ships in a Custom Shop hardshell case with free shipping to the continental U.S., complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, and a limited lifetime warranty.
