Description
The Fender John Osborne Telecaster is a signature solidbody built around a factory-installed Fender B String Bender - the defining feature that sets it apart from any standard Tele. The B-Bender is activated by a downward pull on the guitar's neck, raising the B string a full whole step and enabling pedal steel-style bends with one hand while the other plays freely. That capability, previously only available through aftermarket modification, is here from the factory with a hardshell case included at $2,200.
The alder body pairs with a maple neck carrying a 1968 C profile, 7.25" radius maple fingerboard, and 21 frets - a combination that suits players who prefer vintage Fender geometry. The custom-voiced John Osborne pickups are built for articulate, punchy Telecaster output with clear highs, focused mids, and tight bass response, covering ground from clean twang to overdriven blues without losing definition. This guitar is built for working players who want Nashville-ready tone and the expressive range of pedal steel-style bends without building a custom instrument to get there.
