This Limited Edition American Ultra II Stratocaster HSS pairs Custom Shop Texas Special single-coils in the neck and middle positions with a Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbucker at the bridge - a different pickup configuration than the standard Ultra II HSS, which uses Fender's own Haymaker humbucker and Ultra II Noiseless pickups. The S-1 switch, built into the volume knob, splits the Antiquity into a single-coil, giving players access to punchy humbucker output and articulate Strat tones from a single instrument. That range makes it a practical choice for players who move between clean, overdriven, and high-gain territory in live or studio settings.
The roasted quartersawn maple neck runs a Modern D profile with Ultra rolled fingerboard edges and a 10"-14" compound radius - flatter at the upper frets where it benefits lead playing. A tapered neck heel and sculpted alder body contours keep the upper register accessible. Hardware includes deluxe locking tuners and the 2-Point American Ultra tremolo with stainless steel saddles and a cold-rolled steel block. The Graffiti Yellow finish is a limited offering on this spec package. It comes with a hardshell case.
