The Fender Malibu Classic is a concert-body acoustic-electric built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, paired with a 24.1-inch short scale that makes it one of the more accessible acoustics in Fender's California Series. The mahogany neck carries a slim-taper 'C' profile borrowed from Fender's electric designs, and the Fishman-designed preamp system is voiced specifically for this body shape, producing a balanced, articulate amplified tone that tracks the guitar's natural acoustic character. This brand new example ships in the Aged Cognac Burst finish with a deluxe gig bag included.
