The Fender Player II Telecaster HH is a solidbody electric built on an alder body with dual Player Series Alnico 2 humbuckers, making it the practical choice for players who want the Telecaster platform without single-coil hum. The HH pickup configuration, paired with a 3-way blade switch, covers warm neck-position cleans through punchy bridge-position bite - a broader tonal range than a traditional Tele. Those Alnico 2 humbuckers run dead silent under high gain, which matters on a noisy stage or in a recording chain.
The Modern "C" maple neck carries a satin finish on the back and a 9.5" radius slab rosewood fingerboard with hand-rolled edges, giving it a broken-in feel straight out of the box. The strings-through-body hardtail bridge with bent-steel saddles adds sustain and keeps intonation stable. At just under 8 lbs, it's a comfortable gigging weight. This is a well-specified instrument for intermediate to working players who want hum-canceling output and classic Fender construction at a practical price point.
