Description
The Fender Paramount PS-220E is a solid-wood parlor acoustic from Fender's Paramount series, built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides over an offset X-bracing pattern designed to maximize the smaller body's projection. The Fishman Sonitone Plus system pairs an undersaddle Sonicore pickup with a body-sensing pickup, blended via soundhole-mounted controls, producing a tight, articulate amplified tone that preserves the natural voice of the instrument. Ships brand new in the included deluxe black hardshell case with a bone nut, ovangkol fingerboard with snowflake inlays, and a mahogany C-profile neck.

The Paramount PS-220E combines state-of-the-art craftsmanship with vintage-inspired appointments, delivering the best of both worlds. Built with the choice of a solid spruce or solid mahogany top paired with solid mahogany back and sides, the PS-220E features an offset X-bracing pattern that has been carefully refined to optimize resonance and tone. A Fender and Fishman®-designed pickup amplifies the tight, articulate tone of the PS-220E’s newly designed parlor body shape, while the soundhole-mounted controls preserve the vintage aesthetics. Under the top, a body-sensing pickup enhances the soundboard's vibrations which can then be blended with the undersaddle Sonicore pickup.
