Description
The Furch GNc 2-CWa EAS is a nylon-string crossover acoustic-electric built for steel-string players who want classical tone without relearning their technique. The cutaway 000/Auditorium body keeps the guitar comfortable and accessible, while the 25-9/16" scale and ebony fingerboard with a 15-3/4" radius deliver a feel closer to a steel-string than a traditional classical guitar. Western red cedar over solid black walnut produces a warm, immediate response with a quick attack, focused treble, and tight low end that stays clear in fingerstyle passages. The Furch Soft V neck profile on African mahogany adds a familiar feel for players coming from steel-string backgrounds. Furch's CNR System uses a dual-action truss rod in a carbon-reinforced structure with a self-adjusting wood element that maintains consistent string action over time, reducing long-term maintenance concerns. The LR Baggs Element Active System handles amplified performance faithfully, carrying the guitar's acoustic character through a DI without demanding heavy EQ correction.
