Description
The Furch Green Gc-SM is an all-solid grand auditorium cutaway built for players who want a full-featured acoustic without compromise at this price point. The AA Sitka spruce top is paired with AA African mahogany back, sides, and neck - a combination that delivers balanced mids and clear fundamentals with transparent highs. Furch voices each soundboard individually before finishing, and their Full-Pore High-Gloss lacquer is engineered to be thin enough that it enhances rather than dampens the tonewood's natural response.
The cutaway body gives you comfortable upper-fret access without sacrificing the projection of a full grand auditorium format. Hardware runs to an ebony fingerboard and bridge, a TUSQ compensated saddle, and 1:18 chrome tuners. The 25-9/16" scale length and 15-3/4" fingerboard radius give the fretting hand a wide, flat platform suited to single-note work and open voicings alike. The soft-V neck profile is unobtrusive without being a pronounced C or D. This model ships acoustic-only with a gigbag, making it a clean platform if you plan to add your own electronics or play purely unplugged.
