The Furch Green OM-SR VTC is an all-solid Orchestra Model built in the Czech Republic, pairing a Sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides - a combination well-suited to players who want clear note separation and dynamic range across fingerstyle or flatpicking work. The OM format sits between parlor and dreadnought in size, with the neck joining the body at the 14th fret for comfortable upper-fret access. Furch individually hand-voices each spruce top before assembly, a step that differentiates this guitar within its price range and one that directly affects how the instrument responds to your playing.
An ebony fingerboard and bridge add density and durability to the playing surface, and the 15-3/4" radius with a soft-V neck profile gives the fretting hand a slightly arched, traditional feel. Electronics come from LR Baggs in the form of the passive EAS-VTC soundhole system, a low-profile setup that preserves the acoustic character of the guitar when you plug in - useful for players who want amplification without an active EQ shaping their tone.
