Description
The Furch LTD Backstage Red Gc-LX a C12 is a limited-edition Grand Auditorium built for players who want a tonally demanding, all-solid instrument with a spec package that goes beyond Furch's standard Red Series appointments. The Alpine Spruce top pairs with solid Mountain Cocobolo back and sides - a combination that delivers clear, balanced response with strong low-end definition and a bright, open upper register across both fingerpicking and flatpicking styles. Furch individually voices both the top and back plates as part of their proprietary construction process, which targets tonal consistency from guitar to guitar rather than leaving it to chance. The Ziricote fingerboard and bridge add density to the feel and response compared to the ebony found on standard Red models. A 25-9/16" scale length and 15-3/4" fingerboard radius give the fretboard a relatively flat playing surface that suits players who move between chord work and single-note runs. The Soft V neck profile provides a traditional feel with a subtle shoulder that many players find supportive during extended sessions. The Venetian cutaway opens up upper-fret access without compromising the Grand Auditorium's body volume. At this price, the guitar ships with a hardshell case, and Righteous Guitars includes complimentary PLEK service and a limited lifetime warranty. Buyers should confirm the specific installed electronics system with us directly before purchase.
