Description
The Gibson 1942 Banner Southern Jumbo Light Aged is a Custom Shop reproduction of Gibson's wartime slope-shoulder dreadnought, built with a thermally aged red spruce top and rosewood back and sides. The red spruce top delivers a forward, punchy midrange with strong projection, while the light aging treatment lends the look and feel of a played-in instrument without decades of wear. The C-shape mahogany neck sits at a 24.75-inch scale with a bone nut and mother of pearl parallelogram inlays on a rosewood fingerboard. Ships in a Custom Shop hardshell case with complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
