The Gibson 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue Heavy Aged is a Custom Shop recreation of the most sought-after solidbody electric ever made, finished in Golden Poppy Burst over a figured maple top and one-piece lightweight mahogany body. Its unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups deliver open, vocal midrange with airy highs and loose low-end response characteristic of late-1950s PAFs, fed through a period-correct ABR-1 bridge on a 24.75-inch scale length. The 50s Rounded Medium C neck profile and 12-inch radius Indian rosewood fingerboard keep the playing feel familiar to anyone who has held a good vintage Les Paul. Ships with a brown Custom Shop hardshell case, complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
