The Gibson 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue from the Murphy Lab is a Custom Shop recreation of the most sought-after Les Paul year, finished in Cherry Tea Burst with a light aging treatment that replicates decades of honest wear without obscuring the figured maple top. Its pair of unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups deliver an open, vocal midrange with articulate highs and loose, expressive dynamics that respond directly to pick attack and volume roll-off. The 50s Rounded Medium C mahogany neck sits comfortably for extended playing, and the ABR-1 bridge and Indian rosewood fingerboard keep the platform period-correct. Ships in a brown Custom Shop hardshell case with complimentary PLEK service performed in-house before shipping, a limited lifetime warranty, and free shipping to the continental U.S.
