Description
The Hummingbird Original is Gibson's flagship square-shouldered dreadnought, built on the same platform that's been a staple of country and folk recording since the early 1960s. The Sitka spruce top over mahogany body produces a focused midrange with enough headroom to handle aggressive strumming without breaking up, while the 24.75" scale and rounded mahogany neck keep the playing feel familiar to any Gibson player. The onboard LR Baggs VTC is one of the more transparent undersaddle systems available, making this a practical choice for players who need to plug in without chasing tone.
