The J-45 Standard is Gibson's workhorse slope-shoulder dreadnought, built for players who need a dependable acoustic that can handle both the studio and the stage. The Sitka spruce top over mahogany back and sides delivers focused midrange output with enough volume to cut through a mix, while the 24.75" scale and slim taper neck keep the playing feel manageable across long sessions. The LR Baggs VTC pickup is one of the more transparent undersaddle systems available, capturing the acoustic tone without coloring it significantly. Every guitar at this price point ships with complimentary PLEK setup and a limited lifetime warranty.
