The SJ-200 Original is Gibson's flagship flat-top, built on the jumbo body template that has made it a go-to for players who need volume and projection without amplification. Flame maple back and sides deliver a focused, punchy low end with strong note separation-different from the warmer response you get with mahogany or rosewood-while the Sitka spruce top tightens up as it opens over time. The LR Baggs VTC pickup sits under the saddle and captures the acoustic signal passively, so plugged-in tone stays close to what you hear in the room. Every guitar at this price point ships with a complimentary PLEK setup and is backed by our limited lifetime warranty.
