Description
The Martin 000-12E Retro is an all-solid acoustic-electric built on the Road Series platform, pairing a solid spruce top with solid sapele back and sides for a player who wants Martin construction without a boutique price. Scalloped spruce X-bracing keeps the top responsive and allows notes to sustain and project naturally, while the sapele contributes a warm, midrange-focused voice that complements spruce's articulate clarity. The 000 auditorium body balances well across strumming, fingerpicking, and flatpicking, and the 24.9" scale length puts string tension in a comfortable range for extended sessions.

The PA Profile neck with High-Performance Taper has a modern, low-profile carve that works well for developing players and experienced hands alike. Ebony fingerboard and bridge offer a durable, fast playing surface. Martin E1 electronics include volume, tone, phase-reverse, and a built-in tuner, so the guitar moves from the living room to the stage or studio without modification - the phase-reverse control is particularly useful for killing feedback near a monitor. Appointments nod to Martin's Style 18 heritage: Old Style 18 fingerboard inlays, black binding, and nickel open-gear tuners. The Aging Toner finish gives the spruce top a warm tint. A gigbag is included.
