The 00-18 sits at the core of Martin's standard series, pairing a Sitka spruce top with genuine mahogany back and sides in the smaller 00 body format - a combination that produces focused, articulate midrange with controlled low end that suits fingerpickers and singer-songwriters. The 24.9" scale and Modified Low Oval neck profile with High-Performance Taper make this one of the more comfortable Martins to play, particularly for players with smaller hands or those who spend long hours at the instrument. Bone nut and ebony fingerboard and bridge keep the resonance transfer direct and uncolored.
