This Martin Custom Shop NAMM 2026 Custom #5 is a limited edition debuted at the 2026 Winter NAMM show-a small-run instrument that does not enter standard production. The 00 Grand Concert body with a 24.9" scale length delivers focused midrange, clear articulation, and balanced projection in a compact, responsive format well suited to fingerstyle and flatpicking. Adirondack spruce brings headroom and quick response to the top, while the Wild Grain East Indian rosewood back and sides contribute depth and layered overtones that complement the spruce's clarity.
The GE Modified Low Oval neck profile with High Performance Taper offers a modern-feeling, accessible fretting experience across playing styles. An ebony fingerboard and bridge add sustain and a firm attack, while the Select Abalone Diamonds & Squares Long inlay pattern places this squarely in Martin's classic 28-style tradition. The Aging Toner finish is a deliberate choice to evoke the look of a naturally aged pre-war instrument. At $5,900, this guitar includes complimentary PLEK setup and a limited lifetime warranty through Righteous Guitars.
