Description
The Martin D-15M Streetmaster is a dreadnought built entirely from solid mahogany - top, back, and sides - which gives it a focused, punchy midrange character that differs noticeably from the broader response of a spruce-top guitar. The 25.4" scale and Modified Low Oval neck profile keep the playing feel comfortable across strumming and flatpicking. A rosewood fingerboard and compensated bone saddle round out a practical, no-filler spec sheet.
The satin finish on both body and neck allows the wood to resonate more freely than a gloss alternative, and the deliberately distressed Streetmaster aesthetic means this guitar is built to be played hard without babying. This pre-owned example is in excellent condition with a strap button installed at the heel and pickguard scratches that go beyond the factory aging - worth noting, though the distressed finish absorbs cosmetic wear better than most.
