Description
The Martin Super D-18 takes the D-18 blueprint and scales up the body to
16 3/8 inches wide — 20% more internal air volume than a standard
dreadnought — for noticeably more projection and low-end response without
changing the fundamental spruce-and-mahogany voice. Forward-shifted Golden Era scalloped X-bracing keeps the top responsive across the dynamic range, and the ebony fingerboard and bridge add sustain and clarity that rosewood
alternatives round off. This is a new, authorized instrument that ships
with Martin's hardshell case, complimentary PLEK service, and our limited
lifetime warranty.
