The Paul Reed Smith Modern Eagle V 10 Top is a USA-made, set-neck solidbody built for players who need one guitar to cover serious tonal ground. The pickup configuration is the defining feature: dual TCI humbuckers at neck and bridge flank an NS-01 true single-coil at center, controlled by a 5-way blade switch, two mini-toggle coil-splits, and a push/pull tone knob that engages all three pickups simultaneously. That combination gives you articulate single-coil clarity, full humbucker output, and a range of split-coil voices in between - all at balanced volume across every position.
The mahogany body and neck pair with a figured maple 10 Top, PRS's most highly figured grade in the standard Core range, and a 25" scale rosewood fingerboard at 10" radius. The Gen III tremolo is PRS's most refined production vibrato system, designed to return to pitch reliably after use - a practical advantage for players who actually use a tremolo on gigs or sessions. The Pattern neck profile offers a substantial feel that traces back to Paul's original Wide Fat shape. At just over 8 lbs, it sits in a comfortable range for extended playing. A hardshell case is included, and as a guitar over $3,000, it comes with Righteous Guitars' complimentary PLEK service and limited lifetime warranty.
