The PRS SE Custom 24 in Slate Blue is a double-cutaway, 24-fret solidbody built on the same design platform as the Core Custom 24, delivered at a price that makes it a practical choice for gigging and recording players. The mahogany body pairs with a set maple neck to combine warmth through the mids with clarity in the upper register, and the set neck joint aids sustain and upper-fret access compared to a bolt-on construction. The Wide Thin neck profile runs a 10" fingerboard radius across 25" of scale length-a middle ground between Fender and Gibson specs that gives bends and vibrato a slightly relaxed feel without going soft.
The 85/15 "S" humbuckers are articulate pickups with extended high and low end, and the push/pull tone control splits the coils, so you have full humbucking voices and single-coil tones from one switching system. PRS bird inlays and a flame maple veneer top are included at this price point without adding bulk-the guitar weighs in at 7 lb 10 oz. This is a strong single-guitar option for the intermediate-to-advanced player who wants stage-ready versatility without moving up to Core-series pricing, and it ships with a PRS gig bag included.
