The PRS Wood Library McCarty Tremolo is a dealer-curated Core guitar built for players who want vintage-voiced humbuckers and a vibrato bridge in the same instrument - a combination the standard McCarty platform doesn't offer. The mahogany body with flame maple top delivers the warm, sustaining foundation that defines the McCarty character, while the Gen III Tremolo opens up expressive pitch modulation without sacrificing that core identity. McCarty III humbuckers use alnico II magnets with PAF-inspired winding specs, producing articulate, warm tone with natural compression when pushed and clear, harmonically full response at moderate gain.
The dual mini-toggle switches function as individual coil taps for each pickup. A 25" scale length and Pattern neck profile - a medium-C carve - give you a familiar, comfortable platform across a 10" fingerboard radius. The ziricote fingerboard is a dense, dark wood that contributes firmness under the fingers and tonal focus. Wood Library instruments are built to dealer-specified configurations at the PRS factory in Stevensville, Maryland, with tonewoods and features not found in standard catalog builds. This guitar ships with a hardshell case, and your purchase includes complimentary PLEK setup and a limited lifetime warranty through Righteous Guitars.
