Description
The PRS Custom 24 is the guitar that defined the brand's identity, and this Core-tier example gives you that proven platform in an Emerald finish with a figured maple top over a mahogany body and neck. That combination puts maple's articulate high-end response over mahogany's warmth and sustain, with the 25" scale length landing between Fender and Gibson territory for a feel and response that's its own thing. The Pattern Regular neck profile is PRS's middle-ground contour-neither as slim as the Pattern Thin nor as substantial as the Pattern Vintage-making it the most broadly accessible shape in the Core lineup.
The 85/15 humbuckers are noted for their clarity and extended frequency response, and the 5-way blade switch with coil-splitting push/pull tone control lets you move between full humbucking output and a snappier, single-coil-like voice without changing guitars. The PRS Patented Tremolo is engineered to return to pitch reliably after use, which matters for players who use vibrato in live or session settings. At just under eight pounds, this is a comfortable all-night player, and it comes with a hardshell case, complimentary PLEK service, and a limited lifetime warranty through Righteous Guitars.
