The Legacy 514ce is part of Taylor's limited Legacy series, built with a Western Red Cedar top over Neo-Tropical Mahogany back and sides - a combination that delivers a warmer, more immediately responsive voice than the standard 514ce. The cedar top breaks in faster and handles fingerpicking and lighter playing dynamics particularly well, while the LR Baggs Element VTC keeps the amplified signal honest without over-coloring the natural tone.
