The Legacy 810e Special Edition is a limited run built on Taylor's flagship 810 platform, pairing torrefied Sitka spruce with Indian rosewood in a full-scale dreadnought format. Torrefaction accelerates the aging process in the top, giving the guitar the open, responsive feel of a well-played instrument without the decades of break-in time - expect clear note separation and strong low-end projection that suits fingerpicking and flatpicking equally. The LR Baggs Element VTC keeps the amplified signal transparent, letting the acoustic character carry through without coloring the tone. Every guitar over $3,000 at Righteous Guitars receives a complimentary PLEK setup and is backed by our limited lifetime warranty.
