The Taylor Next Generation K24ce Special Edition is an all-solid Hawaiian koa Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric built for players who want a serious performance instrument with long-term tonal upside. All-solid koa top, back, and sides-paired with scalloped V-Class bracing and Taylor's Action Control Neck with a long-tenon joint-produce a punchy midrange voice with clear trebles and warm lows, and koa is well-documented for opening up and developing greater harmonic depth with play over time. The Action Control Neck also includes a patented system that lets you dial in string height without a tech visit, which is a practical advantage for gigging players.
The Claria pickup system moves beyond traditional undersaddle sensing to capture a broader range of the guitar's natural resonance, with onboard Volume, Mid-Contour, and Tone controls for shaping your amplified sound at the gig. This Special Edition adds paua GA-LTD fingerboard inlays, a mother-of-pearl peghead logo, Indian rosewood body binding, a paua-and-rosewood rosette, and the Shaded Edgeburst gloss finish that deepens the visual character of the koa grain-appointments that distinguish it from the standard Next Generation K24ce. At 25-1/2" scale with a West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard and bridge, this guitar suits fingerstyle and flatpicking players who want articulate response across the full range. It ships with a deluxe hardshell case, complimentary PLEK setup, and a limited lifetime warranty.
