About PRS Wood Library

The Wood Library program lets PRS dealers spec limited runs using woods pulled from PRS's own reserve: figured maple tops beyond 10 Top grade, swamp ash and korina bodies, and fretboard woods you rarely see in production. Each run is small, each spec is unique to the commissioning dealer, and when a run sells out it is gone. Our Wood Library selection spans Custom 24s, McCarty 594s, Modern Eagles, and semi-hollows, and because we commission our own runs, several of the guitars on this page exist nowhere else. Every listing is the exact guitar photographed, top and all.

Wood Library is a limited production run with upgraded wood selection, built on PRS's Core line. Private Stock is a one-at-a-time commission built by a dedicated team with essentially no limits. Wood Library gets you rare woods at Core-plus pricing; Private Stock is the full bespoke experience.

Every guitar we sell is inspected and professionally set up before shipping, and anything over $3K gets a complimentary PLEK fret dress on Georgia's only PLEK station.
